Although we have a lot of work to do on the promotional front, it is nice to see there’s a world wide market for MeetingWave.

As always, be safe, post good invites, search for those near you that might interest you and by all means tell some friends about MeetingWave. Remember, it’s typically not what you know, but who you know.  So try making new contacts today.

In the meantime, happy holidays and best wishes for the New Year.

We thought this invite is a great way to use MeetingWave:

“Salsa Dancing”

“Gusano’s in Lebanon, NH has a live Salsa band the 1st Saturday of every month & a Salsa DJ the 2nd Saturday of every month. Join me & my salsa dancing friends on Nov & Dec for some dancing fun.”

Sofia

Lebanon, NH

Happy to see there are also Salsa dancers in New Hampshire. Great idea to invite friends when you post an invite so you can meet new people with people you already know. We wish Sofia luck in increasing the Salsa dancer population in the Granite State which still has the motto “Live Free or Die”. I’d put salsa dancing in the living free column.

We understand it takes a little extra time to meet new people. However, it’s one of the best investments you can make, especially in an uncertain economy. Keep in mind that when you post an Invite on MeetingWave to make new contacts or meet new people, you are merely indicating that you believe you will be available at the proposed time and location. You are not obligated to have the proposed meeting. You can describe the type of people you want to network with in your Invite and decline any acceptance or cancel for any reason with proper notice. If you are flexible about the time or location, mention that in your invite and work out the details later with the other members using the double-blind messaging system. Your proposed meeting is only confirmed if there is at least one acceptance that you have approved. Otherwise, there is no need to show up. MeetingWave is a flexible, versatile tool for meeting new people offline. It’s easy to use and free. If you have any feedback or suggestions on how to improve MeetingWave, please let us know.
